Hi everyone this is Jake from the New Castle area. I have been attending various car events in the area since I was in a stroller and now finally have a car of my own to start attending events. I've never been to any Cars and Coffee events in the past but have seen the exhibit at the PVGP as well as around town at other shows. My toy is a 1986 Porsche 944 that I have had full servicing done to and am beginning to start making more fun improvements. I hope to upgrade it eventually but as of now this is all the budget allows! My daily driver is a 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport that I just picked up as well. Anyway, here is a picture of my toys and hope to see you guys at some events/meets this year.

Welcome Jake! I love the classic 944 look sitting on phone dials.

Thank you! This is my second 944 and they are just a hoot. Unfortunately, my first one was rear-ended a month after I got it on the road and was totaled. I'm planning on making just some subtle upgrades as I enjoy it. It is a great, original car and I just had a full service done on it at George Riggin Specialty Auto in Harmony so I should be good to go for some use this summer. Hope to make a meet in Warrendale soon! Thanks for the welcome!

The first car I ever loved...my dad's 1988 Porsche 944. My older brother totaled it a few months before I turned 16, so I never even got to drive it, but I still remember it today!

I almost bought one of these as my first car when I was 16, but my parents wouldn't allow it. It is a lovely car, and from the looks of it, you are taking marvelous care of it!
Nearly everything around you was designed by an artist or engineer, and that is beautiful.
Hope to see your 944 tomorrow, I'll look for you. I'll be in a white NSX coupe. Would love to ask the chance to sit in your 944, I've never done that and have always wondered about the cockpit feel/view in 944's. In photos, the 944 cockpit view including the dash/gages has always been textbook definition to me of how how a sportscar should look for me. White on black simple gages free from faddish flourishes more for the car designer than the car driver, orange/red needle, and black everything else. The 944 remains as one of my top 3 childhood wish-list cars, ever since the Sixteen Candles movie, ha ha. So maybe see you tomorrow.
